Imam ul Haq admits the mistake that he made in the past few days and apologizes to Pakistan Cricket Board.

The Pakistan opening batsman was recently accuses of having multiple affairs after one of the twitter user had leaked the Whatsapp chat of the cricketer with several girls in July 25. He admits the mistake and apologizes to the Pakistan Cricket Board. "Imam was remorseful has apologized of what has happened and admitted his mistake. He said the matter got out of hand due to a misunderstanding." PCB Managing Director Wasim Khan said while talking to Geo.tv.
Wasim Khan said that "But we told him in clear terms that, although this is his personal and private matter, we expect our players to adheres to the highest standard of ethics and discipline".
He added that the board take these type of matters seriously, saying centrally contracted players are expected to be more responsible.
"We don't like comment on players personal and private matters but we expected that the our centrally contracted players will also show more responsibility being ambassadors of Pakistan Cricket and Pakistan" Wasim Khan added.
He said that "Hopefully we will not see such incidents again".
